Order Policy
Thank you for considering Moonmommy Bakes! Every order is handcrafted from scratch and decorated by hand, so a little planning goes a long way. Please review the following policies before placing your order.
Order Requests
Submitting an order request does **not** guarantee availability.
I will respond within 24–48 hours to confirm whether I am available for your requested date. If I can accept your order, I will send you an invoice with payment instructions.
Your order is considered confirmed only after payment has been received. Requested dates cannot be reserved without payment.
Payments
Full payment is required to secure your order unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Payment instructions will be included with your invoice.
Cancellations & Refunds
Because every order is custom designed and made specifically for you, payments are non-refundable once received.
If Moonmommy Bakes must cancel an order due to circumstances within my control, you will receive either a full refund or, if you prefer, a credit toward a future order.
Rush Orders
To ensure every order receives the time and attention it deserves, Moonmommy Bakes is unable to accommodate rush orders at this time.
Pickup
Orders must be picked up at the agreed-upon date and time.
Once an order has been picked up, Moonmommy Bakes is not responsible for damage resulting from transportation, handling, weather exposure, or improper storage.
Delivery
Orders can be picked up for free by appointment at a mutually agreed-upon public location within the City of Decatur, Georgia.
Delivery is alsoavailable for an additional $100 to locations within 35 miles of City of Decatur, Georgia.
Pickup details will be provided when your order is confirmed. Customers are responsible for picking up their orders at the scheduled date and time.
Once an order has been picked up, Moonmommy Bakes is not responsible for damage resulting from transportation, handling, weather exposure, or improper storage.
Delivery is subject to availability and must be arranged in advance. If your event is outside my standard delivery area, please contact me before placing your order to discuss possible accommodations.
Moonmommy Bakes reserves the right to decline delivery requests outside the standard delivery area.
Allergens
Our cookies contain wheat (gluten), eggs, dairy, and may contain soy.
Products are prepared in a licensed Georgia Cottage Food Operation home kitchen that is not free of common allergens, including peanuts and tree nuts.
Customers with food allergies should use their own discretion before consuming our products.
Product Variations
Every cookie is individually handcrafted. Slight variations in color, lettering, design, and decoration are part of the artistic process and make every order unique.
Inspiration Photos
I'm always happy to receive inspiration photos! They help me understand the style you're looking for.
However, I do not create exact replicas of another artist's work. Every cookie set is an original design inspired by your vision.
Design Approval
Due to of the nature of my design process, the artistic interpretation of your order—including color placement, decorative details, and lettering style—is at the discretion of Moonmommy Bakes.
Freshness & Storage
Cookies are heat sealed for freshness.
For the best flavor and texture, enjoy within one week of pickup. Cookies may also be frozen in their sealed packaging for longer storage.
Photography
Moonmommy Bakes reserves the right to photograph completed orders and use those images for portfolio, website, social media, and marketing purposes.
